You only need a Java enabled Web Browser to use most of the emap
Atlas.
To ensure all of the programs work we recommend using:
PC users …
Windows 95, 98, 2000 - use Netscape version 4 (or
greater) or Internet Explorer version 5 (or greater).
NOTE: MAPaint (only available from the CD-ROM) cannot be run on a
PC unless it uses Linux
Mac users…
MacOS9 - use Internet Explorer version 5 (or greater)
NOTE: MAPaint (only available from the CD-ROM) cannot be run on MacOS9
or earlier systems
MacOSX – use Internet Explorer version 5.1
(or greater)
UNIX users…
Solaris (Sun or PC), IRX (SGI Indigo) or Linux (PC)
– use Netscape version 4 (or greater)
